THE RIGHT CARE FOR YOUR HAIR TYPE

Those who have wavy hair prefer straight hair and those who have straight hair prefer wavy hair. Almost all women and men know this problem. Curly hair cannot be magically permanently transformed into straight hair. However, with the right care according to your hair structure, you can get the best out of your hair. This is how you can keep your hair shiny and the best version of itself.

WHAT TYPES OF HAIR ARE THERE?

Hair can be determined more precisely in three parameters: hair type, structure and condition.

HAIR TYPES - STRAIGHT, CURLY OR CURLY?

STRAIGHT HAIR

Straight hair has a beautiful, natural shine, but usually hardly any volume. Straight hair can be particularly difficult to grasp because its smooth surface makes it easy to slip through your fingers.

CURLY HAIR

The surface of frizzy hair is roughened. This means they release and absorb moisture more quickly than straight hair. Has it ever happened to you that your hair frizzed a lot when the humidity was high? Then you might have a tendency to have frizzy hair. Frizzy hair swells and curls as a result. They also tend to be dry because they release moisture quickly.

CURLY HAIR

Hair that is naturally curly or has strong waves loses moisture more quickly because the curvature of the hair means that the cuticle layer does not lie smoothly. The hair is more sensitive to climate and weather conditions. This makes them more prone to frizz.

HAIR STRUCTURE - FINE, NORMAL OR THICK?

FINE HAIR

Fine hairs have a diameter of less than 0.06 millimeters and usually have a smooth surface. This makes them look particularly supple. They usually have a natural shine and feel soft. However, they often lack volume.

THICK HAIR

Because it's over 0.08 millimeters thick, thick hair can sometimes feel like string when you roll it between your fingers. Their surface is usually roughened, which means they lose moisture more quickly. This makes them quickly appear brittle. Thick hair is so strong that it is often difficult to style.

NORMAL HAIR

Normal thickness hair has a diameter of around 0.06 to 0.08 millimeters. With appropriate hair care, they can be styled quite easily due to their structure. They are harder and more resilient than fine hair and softer than thick hair. However, as a mixed type, they can have problems with both fine and thick hair. They may appear weak and hang flat or very dried out.

HAIR CONDITION - DRY, STRESSED OR OILY?

DRY HAIR

With dry hair, the outermost cuticle layer of the individual hairs is roughened. As a result, they usually look dull and feel brittle. The problem here is that the hair is not supplied with sufficient moisture from the roots.

DAMAGED HAIR

Damaged hair is often lumped together with dry hair. Just like dry hair, damaged hair also lacks moisture and has higher porosity. However, the problem here is external influences such as styling, dyeing, high levels of sunlight, dry heating air and cold.

GREASY HAIR

Oily hair looks greasy again shortly after washing. In people with oily hair, the scalp produces more sebum than in others. Reasons for this can be, for example, diet or hormonal changes.

WHICH HAIR CARE IS SUITABLE FOR MY HAIR TYPE?

Depending on the type, care should be tailored individually. This makes your hair shine beautifully and look strong.
